Connor's Portrait Session in Traditional Russian Outfit

I had a blast photographing Connor. Just before Connor turned 2 years old, his Grandmother contacted me to book a portrait session. But she had an interesting request, she wanted him to wear traditional russian clothing. I helped her find and pick out a traditional outfit, a beautifully embroidered Kosovorotka linen shirt, Kartuz (hat) with matching blue flower, and Lapty shoes made from natural straw. She ordered everything from Moscow and once the outfit arrived, we scheduled a date for the session. Connor looked absolutely adorable in his outfit and he wore it so well. 

After taking photos of Connor in his special outfit, his mom changed his outfits for a few family photos.
